Have looked through forum, but can't see how to change easyblog toolbar from dropdown menu which I have at the moment to a single icon-only strip at top of blog page which I've seen elsewhere. Can you pls advise?
Hey there,

You can disable it from backend > Easyblog > setting > layout > toolbar > show setting and show login - NO

Hope this help.

Hi Arlex- those parameters already set, so no solution yet! - see http://www.manadvan.com/blog for the way it looks at the moment plus attached screenshot to show current Layout settings in Easyblog- an earlier version of Easyblog had a 'show text' toggle, but can't see that in latest version.

Hm, based on your blog listing page the width is very small so the toolbar become responsive mode and show the toggle layout.

If you do not prefer this, you have to turn off the responsive layout setting from backend > Easyblog > settings > layout > general , refer on my attached screenshot below.
