I do not want anybody to create their own account. I have checked "No" to all of the options in the subscription settings, but can't get rid of it. See below.
Hello Gary,

Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easyblog/themes/default/blog.read.login.php. And yes, it will get overwritten. But you can use template override method to prevent it. Here is the documentation about it. http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/customizations/338-template-overriding

Hello Gary,

May I know where did you see the login form? Or you can provide us your backend and FTP also the URL to the page of the login form so we can remove it for you.

In Layout : General : Frontpage Blog Truncation I set the blogs to only show one teaser paragraph.
In Workflow : General I set “Require login to read full blog post” to Yes.

This allows anyone can see the teaser paragraph. When a viewer clicks on “Continue reading,” the “Members Login” window pops up. Members can enter their ID and continue.

See it on my website at ccwmarketing.com/blog

I saw on a related forum post that the solution was to edit a PHP file. Will that file be overwritten every time there is an update to EasyBlog?
