Hello,

I would like to know how to prevent a user to update AND create template. I use only one template and do not want user to change it or add any other template to the site.

I would be grateful for info.
Thank you
Hey there,

I've applied some hack on this file, can you try download and replace into this file location and see how it goes?

JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\composer\revisions\actions.php

If the user group user have this ACL permission `Moderate All Entries In Dashboard`, mean they have the permission to create a new template and update it.

Hey there,

I have a little bit lost here, do you mean your site template or Easyblog theme?

If you referring the site template, I believe you can restrict those user can't access your Joomla backend.

If you referring the Easyblog theme, you can disable it from backend > Easyblog > ACL > select your user group > profile tab > Change Template - NO

Hope this help.

Hi,

many thanks for looking into this.

It is about blog post template. I have set up NO in ACL for the user group but there are still options available for bloggers to "Update this template" (this is dangerous!) and "Save as New Template", the last one with the option to save as global template (I do not want this).

I would be grateful for looking into this, maybe I made some important settings wrong.
I am sending details to access the website.

thanks
