When you click on a topic, the reply form is automatically shown and "Your Reply" is shown at the top of the page as a title.

Is there anyway to prevent this, so that a user has to consciously click "Add a reply" before they are presented with the form?
Hello Mark,

We are sorry, there is no setting to do that.

Ok, thanks.

I see where the issue is. On my site, the "Your Reply" heading is being displayed at the very top of the page, instead of like here, just above the reply editor.

If someone clicks the reply or post reply button, it jumps to the top of the page, as the reply buttons jump to that anchor text. (#respond).

Any idea why this could've happening?

Hello Mark,

Hmm, this is weird. Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? Please advise.

Hello Mark,

Sorry for the late reply. I've checked your site and seems like the issue is came from your template. Please try to add this CSS codes in your template CSS file:

legend {
position: inherit !important;

Hope this helps.

Hello Nik,

Your reply wasn't late, it was very quick. Thank you!

I added that to me custom.css file and it has now moved the "Your Reply" to the correct position.

However, it seems to have stopped the top menu (main menu) from being fully responsive. If you reduce the browser windows to the size of a phone, the menu should change to a mobile-friendly one.

It does this on all pages, except EasyDiscuss pages now.

I guess this one might be one for my template developer, but I'm hoping you might have some ideas, since it only happens on EasyDiscuss pages.

Also, I've noticed that whenever I click any of the filters on the main forum page (All, Unresolved, Resolved, Unanswered), all of the messages that were showing when the page loaded just disappear. Any ideas on this?

Your help is really appreciated.

Regards,

Mark.

Hi Nick,

The whole site is now broken on iOS!

"Safari cannot open the page."

The error was: "cannot decode raw data".

I've tried on an iPhone and iPad and both come up with the same error. Just the message on a white background.

No, it is still broken.

Are you testing it on an iOS device?

Both the devices I have here are iOS 7. The whole website is still broken on both of them.

I've cleared the cache and delete all history on both devices and also purged Joomla cache, but I cannot access any part of the website.

Thank you Nick,

it now seems to be working again

Perhaps you would be kind enough to tell me which files and settings you have changed (without the real domain name). I can then troubleshoot why the menu is no longer fully responsive on the forum pages. I also like to keep track of any changes!

Kind regards,

Mark.

Hello Mark,

I didn't change any file. What I did was running this URL: http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&compile=1&minify=1.

Ok, excellent. What does that do? Is it some kind if recompiling of template files?

Hello Mark,

That is only necessary to recompile the .less files into .css files
