During the migration process from Jomsocial to Easysocial how can I ensure that no emails are sent to existing users? I see in the "alerts" settings the center column to uncheck. Is that sufficient or are there other triggers? Does the cron need to be active during the migration?
Hello Lynn,

You should deactivate the cronjob temporarily while you are migrating over. This is the same for both JomSocial and EasySocial

Once I re-activate the cron won't it send out emails for all the activity that was generated during the migration unless I uncheck all the columns mentioned?

Are there any other triggers that could cause emails to be sent?

If you have the option "Send email on page load" enabled, this could trigger those emails. If it's disabled and there is no cronjobs created yet, then no emails would be generated unless the user registers via EasySocial.
