So I use Feedly and Hootsuite for my social posting related to my main job. Feedly has a custom sharing mode which I wondered if there was a way to post to my account inside easysocial?

Feedly instructions

Add a custom sharing tool to your Feedly. Feedly will open a popup with this URL. Use ${url}, ${source}, ${title} and ${id} to parametrize the URL with the article info. Example: http://pinboard.in/add?url=${url}&title=${title}

Is this possible in anyway?
If I understand you correctly, do you mean you want the post to be automatically post to your site? Unfortunately right now this isn't possible

Hello Jason,

I am not sure how the custom sharing in Feedly works because it needs paid subscription to be able to use that. However, you could try insert this URL: https://riskoracle.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=sharer&url=${url}

Hope this helps.

Nick,

Ok that worked...as in it opened a window, I logged in and shared the post using the custom link feature from within feedly.

It posted it as a " Jason Wells shared a link" I can see it on my dashboard and in my area.

How do I make a section on any page e.g. on my home page or .../forum that shows the latest or most popular shared links from any user. Is there some module I can insert into the page?

- When you say "shows the latest or most popular shared links", did you mean the links shared from the feedly? If that link, it's not possible because Easysocial doesn't keep the record of how many time the links has been shared into Easysocial.

No what I mean is that I am trying to create a reddit like mode. So people can share story links as I did with feedly or just cut and paste etc. then this would show up as latest shares or content etc.

How do I show what was the latest thing shared/published by somebody e.g. I couldnt find what I shared anywhere else in the site other than in my own user area.

Hello Jason,

I see. Unfortunately, there is no module that can achieve that.

Just to confirm there is no way to show on a main page the latest content generated by a user?

So if they Share a Link how does another user see that content?
