How to override "Search - Easy Blog" Plugin

Hello Team,

I am trying to override "Search - Easy Blog" Plugin for doing some custom changes. But I can't able to do that, I just put the plugin file into my template folder /templates/template_name/html/plg_plugingroup_pluginname but it not works.
After that I override joomla plugin by following the same procedure and it get overrided, so please guide me how can I override that plugin. Awaiting for your positive response.

Hi Chris,
Unfortunately, the override feature is not applicable for plugin files in our extensions, which is why the method you used did not work. The reason why this works in Joomla systems is because they have implemented the feature that would search for plugin overrides.
Your feedback on this feature is noted. We will see if we can implement this in future versions.
