Profiles seem to have gone across but not videos.

I have a little bit lost here, do you mean your Jomsocial user profile page have show video stream?

By the way, Easysocial have Jomsocial video migrator from backend, you can take a look from backend > Easysocial > migrator > Jomsocial video migrator.

Note : Before you run the migration, you have to do the full backup first.

yes, so far so good. I am only in the throws of setting up my easysocial so if there is anything I haven't spotted now, I will let you know later on.
