How to make sure EasySocial dominates core Joomla Registration?

I have a 3rd party component which seems to be redirecting non-logged in users to a core Joomla login page with this URL:

mysite/component/users/?view=login

The danger with this is it includes links to Create Account which again is core Joomla and so misses all the EasySocial awesomeness.

Is there anything I can do / need to do in order to let EasySocial registration / password remind / username remind pages become the 100% default pages for this kind of thing?

Hello Andy,

Unfortunately there's no work around for this unless we create a system plugin that "intercepts" all "com_user&view=register" links but it's going to be an overkill to create a plugin just for this when you can use the "Redirection" component on the back end to help you redirect

Sure, it's pretty easy actually. Just enter the current URL that you would like to redirect from and the url to redirect to
