Hi,

My discussion forum will allow member only to add questions and not replies. Only me as admin will be able to reply. So there is not multiple answers to choose only my own.

How can I make by default the answer show with the green background as being accepted?

If this is not possible and I have to make it manualy by cliking on the button, how do I make the button to accept an answer not show to the member that post the question but only to me as administrator?

Thanks
Hey there,

I am sorry but unfortunately that is not possible out of the box unless you hack the code in /components/com_easydiscuss/controllers/posts.php

I am sorry but unfortunately we do not provide support for customizations. I can only advise you on the files that is responsible to get called when a new post is created

On that file I can disable the premission for the members. And it's working, but the button still shows. I guess that to remove the button I must edit a tmpl file, right? Could you point me what file exactly?

thanks

I have no idea which layout you are referring to here. If you want me to assist you, please provide a screen shot of the area that you are referring to please.

Theme file responsible to output these action buttons are located in /components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/post.qna.php

I am sorry but unfortunately I have to lock this thread because this is going beyond the scope of our support policy.
