I want to popup form login when I click the word "login" on the module and then the form login with popup...
thank you...
Hello Saovry,

This is something that you could add in the module,

[gist]
<?php
include_once(JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR . '/components/com_easysocial/includes/easysocial.php');

ES::initialize();
?>
<a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="EasySocial.login();" class="btn">Log me in</a>
[/gist]

It seems like Joomla custom module unable to execute PHP code by default, so far i found out this 3rd party extension can achieve this, perhaps you can try consult with this extension support and see whether this can achievable via using their extension?

Hey Saovry,

I have helped you add the css styling into your custom module.

Actually there's an issue where TinyMCE is stripping the following code: href="javascript:void(0);" causing the popup to not work.

We are not sure why this happens.

Therefore, I have installed JCE editor, added the codes and saved the module in that editor. If you want to edit the module, you can switch to use that editor in Joomla's global configuration.

Hey Savry,

There are missing files probably due to an incomplete installation. Because of this, js is not working properly on the site. May I have permission to reinstall EasySocial for you?

Remember to backup and customization beforehand.

Hey Savry,

You can just install EasySocial as usual. There's no need to 'uninstall' the component.

I tried to help you with this but unfortunately I am hitting this issue when trying to upload the installer from your backend(http://take.ms/arbJy).

May I know if you have any restrictions in place that are preventing files from being copied?

Hey Savry,

Without a proper ftp account(with Filezilla) to copy over the installation files and folders into your tmp folder, we would have to use Joomla's extension manager to install the extension.

Perhaps you can temporary disable the restriction so we can install ES for you as soon as possible?

Hey Savry,

There was an issue with the ownership of the previous com_easysocial folder. I have helped you renamed it and reinstalled ES successfully.

FYI, the previous folders are named com_easysocial_bak at JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/ and JoomlaFolder/components/(http://take.ms/lFf8C).

Also, the login popup should be working on your frontend now.

Hey Savry,

If you do not have any customized files that you like to keep, you can certainly delete it.
