Hi,

Is there a way to let public users see the event stream entries?

I have "open" events, which everyone can see if they go to the event pages or if I share the url on social media, but if they get to the site front page, if doesn't show.

Thanks
Hi Aikigi ,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I have help you set this privacy item to everyone, so the public user will be see your event creation stream now.

Hello Aikigi.

I am really sorry because I can't reproduce your issue. I have created a new event and update the event stream. I can view it on your homepage and easysocial dashboard without login. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-02_1143.png

Hi,

I really don't understand what is going on there!!

I just test again by creating 5 events using 3 different browsers. 4 in front-end with three different users (registered user and admin including the one you use) as well as one from the back-end, and none of them show in activity stream to public user.

I only see them when logged in. I must do something wrong but can see what it could be.

Any advice?

Hello Aikigi,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Hm. This is odd. Guest user should be able to see the create event stream as well and I cannot replicate it in my local instance. Can you provide us with your FTP access so we can check on the core file directly? Please advise.

Hi,

I added the info in site detail. I also add a URL that shows a video when creating event...

You'll see that nothing appeared on the activity stream for guest user. I also created a discussion in the event and it did not show in stream either (pour public users...).

Thank you.
