how to lock post/thread

Hi

Is there a way of locking threads? similar to this forum. I can't see anything obvious in the backend to do this. I have also searched in the documentation and this forum but can't see anything related. Thanks

Hello James,

Yep, definitely. You can lock threads by clicking on the "Lock" button as you can see here, http://take.ms/AmzAX . By the way, are you logged in as the admin? If you are not, you need to ensure that your user account has the sufficient privileges to perform these actions.

Hi, i wasn't able to see it logged in as a moderator (manager permissions) but can as a super user. I have now changed the permissions under the ACL section in the settings. Thanks
