May i know what is the reason you would like to integration Easyblog category with Joomla category?

The reason why i asking this is because currently Easyblog category do not integrate with Joomla category.

Or you would like to migrate Joomla category and posts into Easyblog?

I would like to import both.
I am not sure on process for this due to minimal documentation on he EasyBlog categories.

I can't be the only one that has hundreds of native categories that needs to be imported prior to migrating hundreds of native articles.
Is this a feature to be considered for future release or is there a module I am unaware of?

If yes, Easyblog do have Joomla article migrator, you can migrate all the existing Joomla categories and articles to Easyblog.

Alex, Yes I do. And could you please elaborate how to migrate or import Categories.
Again, I am not sure on process for this due to minimal documentation on the EasyBlog categories.

I simply want to migrate ALL categories and ALL articles and TAGS if possible. Currently the software does not make it clear on how to import the categories or Tags.

Hey William,

After i tested in my locally, i found out that is some issue, it didn't migrate Joomla article tag over to Easyblog, perhaps you can give it a try my following steps and see how it goes.

1. Make sure you running latest version of Easyblog
2. Download my attached file and replace into Joomlafolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/migrator/adapters/content.php
3. Then go to your site backend > Easyblog > migrators > Joomla Articles > check my attached screenshot below.

in other word, this Joomla article migrator will migrate all the Joomla categories, articles, and inside the article tags as well, but the Joomla categories custom field do not migrate over to Easyblog.

If the migration not work properly, perhaps you can start a new thread on our forum and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check.
