Hello,

I have purchased bundle (EasyBlog + JSN Pixel) and was thinking to install the template files for EasyBlog - how can I do that properly?

I feel like it must be fairly easy to do, but wanted to ask You first so that I will make it right

Thank You in advance!

Best regards,

You have to FTP the JSN Pixel theme files into EasyBlog component where Easyblog stores all the theme files.

Then you have to set Easyblog to use the JSN Pixel Theme.

When I get back to my laptop I'll find the path to the correct folder for you.

Hello,

I believe they have provided this by default in their template. Have you checked this out with them yet?

Must be here I should place the JSN Pixel files in a separate folder:
public_html/components/com_easyblog/themes

?

I see there all the folders for other themes like "bluedream", "bubbles", "default" etc (but no pixel, btw).

Now I placed the files and LOOKS MUCH BETTER!!!

Thanks!

Glad you were able to find the correct folder.

Things to keep in mind: When you update Easyblog in the future the Themes folder will be overwritten and you'll have to add the JSN Pixel Theme files again.

You might want to ask the StackIdeas Support Team how you can create an OverRide for the JSN Theme files to be stored in your site template folder.that way you don't have to do any updates when you Upgrade EasyBlog in the future.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. Here is a guide on template overriding. http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/customizations/template-overriding Keep in mind that EasyBlog will replace files when you upgrade via updater or reinstall. The JSN Pixel files won't be erased. However if you ever uninstall EasyBlog and reinstall then yes the JSN Pixel files will be gone Hope this helps.

Thanks!
