Hello
I would like to insert some images in my Blog Post.
My editor is TinyMCE.
And I can not find the 'insert image' icon.

Thanks
Henri
Hi there,

Regarding this issues, you should consult with "TinyMCE" editor. But, i have made some search on the internet and found out some interesting input regarding this issues. You have to make some modification on your own and as you can see here
http://www.aspsnippets.com/Articles/Upload-add-and-Display-Image-in-TinyMCE-Editor-TextBox-using-jQuery-Uploadify-Plugin-in-ASPNet.aspx
https://www.tinymce.com/docs/get-started/upload-images/

Or i would like to recommend you to use our default editor that is "Built-in EasyBlog composer" as it will make user easier to add pictures and any other things in their blog post as you can see here http://screencast.com/t/MNvQaMwdzshw
Please advice.

Far too complex for me.

There is no way to add the feature 'insert image' just in configuring TinyMCE, not changing lines of code?

Hello Henri,

Sorry for the confusions by my colleague earlier as I believe he may have misunderstood your question.

It is DEFINITELY possible to insert images with TinyMCE and this is the standard behavior of Joomla's TINYMCE plugin. Take a look at my screen shot here, http://take.ms/zlrHn

Alternatively, you could use the insert media button in EasyBlog, http://take.ms/Ooi5u

By the way, it's most likely that your TINYMCE is configured to be on simple mode. You need to change it to run on "Advanced" or "Extended" mode as you can see here, http://take.ms/TfMc8

To configure the plugin, go to Extensions > Plugins . Search for TinyMCE. Click on it

Sounds better Mark!

I am working - for my REAL job - right now but I will check that later today.

As a change management, I would prefer to provide the TinyMCE editor to my community first.
Once they will understand the new concepts of Group, Blog, Discussion, Event, etc, I will introduce the Blog Editor capability.

I also understand the difference between the joomla-old Article (editabe from the backend only) and the Blog (editable by every members). I will clearly provide the Blog to the community.

My last concerns are
- old system/Easy social tables mapping to import users, forum => Groups, article content => user's Blog from my old system to Easy Social
- add my linked custon field 'multi-selection + editbox' : your colleague confirmed that it doesn't exist ... any ideas from you?

THANKS again for your dedication.
I will try to send my claim earlier my time!!

About TinyMCE : I configured as you said and now I can see the 'insert image' menu ... but I can not insert a picture inside a document.
Any limitation or format or other settings?
