Is there are any way to send notification to customer that there are payment problems for next payment for recurring subscription ?

I did payment by credit card with 3DSecure, so first payment was ok but second was refused as its not possible to enter 3D security code
I got system message about error but did not find way to inform about it customer by notification
I will add next errors related to this scenario in the same thread, despite the fact that they concern other mechanisms

After several messages from the error log, the subscription stop to be active (expired status) as defined in Wait for Payment before Expiring Subscription
However, postexpiry notification did not work

I am really sorry for the delayed response.

Currently in PayPlans there is no functionality to send email to customers. Right now only we send email to admin about payment failure. I'll log this into our issue and we will look into this.

I've checked with testuser and i received the post expiration email correctly. see attached screenshot.
Check your email spam folder also.

We will improve logging system to add some more information. for now to help you , is it good to add subscription id or user email in log , so you can track.

Its good idea but please tell me where I can change template for error messages sent by system ?
I could not find it in backend

I geting email message like attached
Can I add payplans tokens tho this template ?

I can not test this scenario now as you changed Stripe checkout form
Now I cannot process any test card no. with 3D Secure
For example Card ID 4000000000003220

Its enough for me
If I have Invoice key I can find everything

Hey,

I havn't changed anything. These seems the invoice key is in return error message from stripe that's why it's showing.
Can you please provide us the ftp details of your beta test site, so i'll make the necessary changes.

weell its strange because Stripe payment form changed - probably they changed it

FTP access you have in my site definition (I updated it some tome ago)

I was able t generate problem again
See my Stripe Audit log for payment error from today

You have to try to pay for recurring subscription with credit card which requires 3D autentification
In test mode during first time payment accept correct code and error is generated during next payments
Use card no 4000000000003220

Stripe test card no you can find there https://stripe.com/docs/testing

Ino on email and in payplans is very limited

We are after fresh upgrade of plugin

Please confirm that I still should do it and its not brake any changes related to last upgrade
