Hi,

I would like to hide the category on the blog posts. I attached a screen shot of an example of the link I would like hidden, it is circled in red.

Please provide detailed instructions for how to hide this link. The last support response I was given included a css code, but did not include what css file to put the code into or where in the file to insert the code.

Thanks
Hey there,

In your category settings, it looks like you have explicitly configured it to show. Hence, the category is still shown even if you have set it in the Global Settings. See my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/oRa6SXlQ5kkK

I have configured this to "inherit from global settings", so that the settings are being retrieved from Settings > Layout > Post Options instead and the category is not shown any longer.

Hey there,

This can be easily achieved by disabling the option "Show Post Category" under Settings > Layout > Post Options

That option is already set to hide, and yet the category still shows.

(please see attached screen shot to be sure we are talking about the same setting)

Hey,

Are you on 5.0.17? There is a bug where these settings aren't being respected. You might also want to check the post's category as you can override the "Global Settings" within the category as well.

Yes, I am on 5.0.17. I did override the setting in the category option, yet the category still appears on the post.

Is there any way to correct this?

I need to check this out because in our codes, and on my local instance, it is respecting the settings correctly. Did you create any menu item for this particular blog post?

No, I did not create a special menu item for the blog post.

I included the site login details, please hide the category if you can.
