I have used the Joomla Read More option in a blog, but can't find where to set it so that in the full article it only shows the text below the "read more" spacer?
Hey there,

Do you mean that you want to show the text only which after 'Read More' button in the blog listing page instead of before 'Read More' button?

If yes, it is impossible to do that at this point of time currently.

If no, can you explain more about what do you mean about it and provide us with some screenshots so that we can have a better understanding of it?

Yes, I have it set for Joomla articles ("Show Intro Text" set to Hide) so had hoped that would work for the Blog pages as we compose them with Joomla editor. Any reason this difference between how Joomla works and EasyBlog and any idea when it will be fixed? Thanks.

Hey there,

Do you mean that you want the Joomla Article to show the intro text which is the content before 'Read More' on the listing page and after the users press 'Read More', it will only show the content after 'Read More' in the blog entry?

If yes for EasyBlog, it is impossible to do that at this point of time currently.

Sorry for confusion, thought I had already answered yes to that question. My surprise comes from the fact the EasyBlog doesn't support that yet, even though it's a basic Joomla function - sometimes I think we might be better just dropping EasyBlog and using Joomla articles instead!

Hey there,

I am really sorry that it was my mistake.

Actually, EasyBlog does have this feature. You can disable the 'Show Introtext' setting as shown in the screenshot. https://monosnap.com/file/NqsEyrZypKL45fvEvdh8SE3soCiLtj

Can you have a try and see how it goes?
