How to hide recent updates and news feed on dasboard page?

Hi Steve,

May I know are you referring to the stream feed when the user is not login? You can hide this by using Enable lockdown mode setting located at EasySocial General. Please give this a try and see if this resolves your issue. If this is not the issue, perhaps you can explain more so that we can understand you better.
