How to hide post status from users?

I have two user groups (i) Moderator and (ii) general public.

How can I hide the post status from the general public.
By post status do you mean the post status below the post title? Refer to the screenshot link below for an example.

If your answer is yes, I`m afraid there is no way to hide it.
