I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Unfortunately that is no setting to hide those group stream into the user dashboard page.

By default, if that is public group, everyone should able to see the stream item created from the group.

If that is private group, only member can able to see the stream item created from the group.
