Hi there,

Im just wondering how I can hide the address in the profile info. I still want that information for admin purposes, but I dont want other members to be able to see it.

Thanks
Katie
Hello Katie,

Edit your profile and in the "privacy" button, select "Only Me". This way, only you can see it

Sorry Mark, I should have been more clear.

I mean I would like this to be automatic for every member, rather then asking them each to change the settings themselves once they have joined.

Thanks

Hello Katie,

Ah, unfortunately it's not possible to have a default privacy value for the field currently.

Hello Katie,

Edit the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/profile/default.header.php and at line 207 remove the codes below:

<a href="<?php echo FRoute::profile( array( 'id' => $user->getAlias() , 'layout' => 'about' ) );?>"><?php echo JText::_( 'COM_EASYSOCIAL_PROFILE_MORE_INFO' ); ?></a>
