Hi!
When I activate the Search module in Joomla 2.5.28 it doesn't search in the blog posts, only the articles and 'normal' Joomla stuff. How do I get the Search-function to include both the articles and the blog posts?
Hello Susanne,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Yes, that was possible to create a smart search module to search the blog post from Easyblog.
Step 1 : GOTO > backend > Module manager > Click "NEW" > Select "Smart Search Module" > set "published" and select "which page you want it to show"
Step 2 : Download the "EasyBlog smart search plugin" from this side ( http://stackideas.com/downloads/plugins )
Step 3 : Install it and enable that "EasyBlog smart search plugin"
Step 4 : GOTO > backend > Component > Smart search > Click "Index"
Step5 : Completed.

If still can't make it, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hello susanne,

If you are reffering to smart search module by joomla, you can try to re-index the content again and see if it will return blog post result.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where do I find the Smart Search: Manage index content? When I click Advanced Options I don't see it. (see attached screenshot)

Thanks! It seems like it's not indexing the blog posts even after I clicked on "Index". I search for a word in a blog title but it doesn't get a hit, and there is no blog posts listed (see attached). Please advice!
