How do we configure the email that goes to the admin to include all the details submitted by a new user?

These details can help the admin quickly determine if the new registrant is a spammer or not.

Thank you
Hello Ken,

I am sorry but unfortunately that is not possible out of the box currently

I think this function will be very important for our online university.

Do you have plans to add this?

thank you

Hello Ken,

Perhaps we could supply these "fields" data into the email template in the future so that you could customize the emails and include the details that you want? The issue here is more about how are you as the "site administrator" is going to configure what fields would appear in the email. Of course, it makes sense that these settings would appear in the custom fields area when you edit the profile type but it's going to add more complications in the future

If you can tell me where to find the email template, I may be able to edit it myself by adding all the extra fields.

thank you

Hello Ken,

You can't just retrieve the extra fields in the email template. It needs to be assigned to the email template. If you want to customize this yourself, you can edit the file /administrator/components/com_easysocial/models/registration.php and the email template files are in /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/emails/registration/

Thank you for indicating which files to edit.

I think I will wait for you to add this fix rather than hack core files. Getting all the data in the email seems like a basic need to see if a registration is a hack or not. In our custom profile fields we ask questions that reveal a person's knowledge on our subject to determine a person's genuine interest.

If we could at least get this one custom Textarea added to the email, we would be very happy. The custom TextArea is called "Meditation" and is attached.

Thank you
