Yes, you can using the Easyblog latest blog module and set the parameter to show only 1 blog post in the module.

You can set it to show featured only blog post at Backend>Extension>Modules>EasyBlog - Latest blog module>Recent Posts as shown http://prntscr.com/cla75w and set to show only one post under "post attributes" as shown http://prntscr.com/cla7nf

Suggestion:
You can use menu item to display single post by creating a new menu item and select "Single Post" as shown http://prntscr.com/cla7v8

In terms of these options mentioned, they have limitations which means I am not able to achieve the use case that i have as follows:

This options is date driven and does not enable me to target a specific post (by ID)

This option creates a page that displays the post. Instead, what i want to achieve it to display a post as being related to another article (page of content).

See attached for a mock-up of what i am looking to achieve.

Do you know of any solutions to achieve this?

Unfortunately, we can't achieve this and there are no module that prompt user to select the id and we only prompt user to shown based on category only.

Instead, what i want to achieve it to display a post as being related to another article (page of content).

Oh, i see. If that you required, i have one more suggestion for you to try . But this suggestion not using module. Using the composer itself. Can you follow steps below and see how it goes

Steps to replicate:
1. Make sure you are using "Built-in EasyBlog composer" by looking at Backend>Components>EasyBlog>Settings>General>Composer as shown http://prntscr.com/clctcn
2. Then, create new post. Add you desired post by going to "Add Post" as shown http://prntscr.com/clctyx
3. Choose your desired post to link and then click insert "insert to post" as shown http://prntscr.com/clcu7j

Thanks for the additional potential solution. Before I try, can i just check that you understand i would like to display an easyblog post with other joomla content (not other blog posts) and so the page that the easyblog post that i would like to display will sit alongside a joomla article and other content modules.

Does this solution enable this to happen some way?

Do you know if there is any planned feature to enable selection of a specific post/posts by ID or Title so these can be displayed as a module, as I've described? I see this as being quite a fundamental method of displaying specific easyblog content blended with other joomla content and there are extensions that can be bought from other extension providers that offer something similar/close to this use case. It would be good if it was built in to easyblog as another module type, or, simply included as another attribute in a current module (for example, Categories, where you might only select certain articles and exclude others; Latest Blogs, again where you might select certain articles and exclude others).
