Hi there!

I've got question about storing in database revisions of posts.

I have this feature disabled because of performance reasons - I need very light database, so I don't need to store revision there.

As I wrote above, I have disabled 'History' option in backend, so I should not store it in databse, but though this option is disabled, it still storing it in my DB.

How can I disable/delete from code option to store history revisions in database?

I'll be very grateful for your help!
Best regards!
Adam
Hey Adam,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

When you disabled that `History` option from backend, it actually just disable for not show the history tab in the composer.

Unfortunately that was not possible to disable this feature at this point of time.

Thank you for your reply,

I understand, but is it possible to make this customization by your developer with additional payment?

I have more than 1 000 000 views of my site per month and I very need to have light database. This feature generates much records and use much of space in database, so I have to detele this feature manually from code.

Please, help me to solve this thread

Best regards!

Hey Adam,

I am really sorry but unfortunately right now the core of EasyBlog requires the revision history We rely on it heavily.

Thank you Mark for your reply,

can you please tell me, what the situation looks in case, when I need to import more than 5 000 posts from K2?

I mean performance issues - the database table will be huge, so my questions is - what do you think - is Easyblog prepared for that amount of posts?

My site generates about 25-30 posts per day, so I need to know what with database performance...

Best regards!

Hey Adam,

I don't think size is really a matter. Otherwise it's pretty pointless to event have a RDMS? What's more important is the indexes of the table structure and I am pretty sure EasyBlog is able to withstand this load
