How can i disable the auto postings in the timeline, for examle login activities?
Hi Eugen Salnikov,

The id of the app might be different from you. But you can check for the stream setting under app 'User - Users'. Please see http://screencast.com/t/q3ks2QwY

Hope this help

@Eugen

The id numbers will be different for each site, for example my id=65 is for JReviews.

If you go into EasySocial administration, application section and click on user-users (it is probably around id 60-70) you will see a yes/no stream option for Login that determines if a login activity is posted to the stream when someone logs in.

Set it to NO and log in stream activities will no longer appear.

You can go through the other items in the application section to see what stream activities can be switched off.

I would like to purge/get rid off all old activities that appeared when setting up my site, but i do not think that is possible at the moment (Josh/Mark?) without going to the database and deleting them - not doing that at the moment as not sure if it would cause problems elsewhere.

We should enable the likes here eh. Thanks for sharing Richard By the way set a profile picture of yourself! haha

Yeah, it's not possible to purge all stream items currently and I wouldn't advise you to delete them manually because the stream table is like your brains. If you erase your memory, you might not find out where the scars from your hands / legs came from (Same with likes, comments, reposts, links, etc as they are all relying on stream id's)

I too would like to see likes here. Regarding ids, I know they differ with plugins and such. I had assumed they were all the same with apps.
