I Just need to deactivate the Post Update, Share Files and Share Links as they are not required. If you can show me in the code / where this is I can do it myself.

A screenshot just incase for further explanation.

Thanks in advance
Hello,

You can disable it from your backend > easysocial > applications and then search for user-link and user-files and then disable it.

For the rest of it, you can disable it via code modification from your /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/story/default.php

Thank You.

Okay, following your advice I've been able to disable the Links and Attachments, but can't seem to switch off the Post Update.

1. Can you please tell me specifically what to remove, so that you only see "Share Photos" & "Share what's new". I have attached a screenshot for more info

2. Also the user needs to upload a photo, so photo is mandatory.

Please see attached for more info.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

Ah, you can't actually turn the status updates off as this is actually one of the core functionality in EasySocial

Hi I really need some support with this.

All I want is for "Share Photos" to be default when clicking to share something instead of "Post Update"

Please see http://prntscr.com/7t097x

Can someone please help me do this / which line this is?

Hey there,

Unfortunately there's really no settings for this and the only way for you to do this is to hack the javascript files. I am really sorry but unfortunately this is beyond the scope of our support and we would not be able to assist you with this

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we might have missed your post. If you need to customize this by editing the file in /media/com_easysocial/scripts/story.js

You will need to change your current system environment to development first.
