I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I want to create 2 types of users:
- 1 those who can post in Discuss
- 2 those who can use Social and Post in Blog

I dont want 1 to have access to Social Dashboard and Blog posting. But I want them to be able to read blogs.

What you can do is to create two Joomla group, 'discuss users' and 'social-blog users'. You can create a menu items that pointing to EasySocial where the access should be 'social-blog users' group only. And for your EasyDiscuss, it depends if you want all your user to access your EasyDiscuss page or not. If not, then you can control with menu item

- through Social Dashboard can I have both Blog and Discuss being accessible?

You can do this by using the 'app' in EasySocial. You need to install EasyBlog app and EasyDiscuss for your EasySocial. The app will display EasyBlog/ EasyDiscuss stream items and also the widgets

As my colleague suggested that you can create different profile type from your backend > Easysocial > profile type > create new button, check my screenshot below.

Sorry for jumping in here. But if I do all of the above and create 2 types of users… And then want to move existing users from one profile type to the other. Is that possible?

e.g. In my case I would like to move a coupe of people from finalBUG network to finalBUG teachers. Is this possible?
