hello Team;

I would like that my members publish their pictures in EB and ES.
But I want to control the number and/or the size of these pictures.

do we have some configuration items that I can modify in order to manage pictures?

TIA
Henri
Hi Henri,

You should be able to control the image size and amount restrictions in the user's respective profile type: http://take.ms/0ruaM

Thanks Ray,

How does it work?

1. The 'max photos upload' field is for all the member life on the site?
for instance, if I set '10', it means that the member could only publish 10 pictures and that it?

2. Does it work for ES and EB
In the exemple above, if a member published 8 pictures on ES, can he publish for 4 pictures on EB ?

TIA
Henri

Hey Henri,

1. That is correct. If you set to 10, each member can only upload up to 10 images and they won't be able to upload anymore once they reach the limit.

2. This setting applies to EasySocial only. So the user can still upload images in EasyBlog media manager even if he reaches EasySocial photos limit.

ok for ES

do we have the same limitation setting for EB ?

most of the people want to illustrate their blog articles with pictures: and I need to limit - by number and/or by size - these pictures!

Unfortunately currently that is no setting for limit user upload how many photo in Easyblog.

But you can navigate this file size setting from backend > Easyblog > setting > media .
