I went to the Settings - Social Integrations and disabled everything i could disable.
But on blog list page, "Share this article" text still shows up

On the blog page, it's even worse. Seems like there is no way i can disable "Add This" and "Share This"

How do i go around this issue please?
Hello Darko.

After you change setting in Layout - Post Option, you need to make sure the Post Option in all of you category is Inherit from default setting. Head on to EasyBlog > Categories > [Choose the category ] > Post Option tab. http://screencast.com/t/2UYC64QOYYNs

Hope this help

Assuming that your category does not override the default layout settings, go to Settings > Layout > Post Options and disable the "Show Bookmark" feature.

As for the "Share this" still appearing on the listings, which version are you on? Tested this locally and can't reproduce.

I've downloaded yesterday, so that takes me to the whatever version was active yesterday
5.0.15. I still haven't updated to 5.0.16

All options i could find regarding bookmarks and "Share This" are disabled.
That goes for
1. all the social integrations in "Settings - Social Integrations" I have disabled everything there
2. In "Settings - Layout - Post Options" i have disabled "Show Bookmark" and "Show Social Buttons"
3. I have one and only menu item that points to Posts Frontpage. Under "Posts" tab of it, i have "Show Social Buttons" disabled

Although the number 3. helped to get rid of the issue on the left hand side picture on the opening post, the issue on the right side is still there

Im not sure what you mean by category overriding the layout? Can you elaborate that please?

Thanks Izzan, that seems to killed it, but it was very complicated to find.
If i may suggest, you should add the global kill switch on the setting in the image for both, AddThis and ShareThis
It will massively improve user experience and it is really the only place user should look if they want it completely disabled.

Perhaps i could, but it's not really a new feature, its just a matter of constraining a block of code in another IF statement

I am doing a UX design for give or take 100 years, and then some.
The feature itself works, but as you can see from this discussion, it took multiple replies, and two people to help me discover where the kill switches are, because they are not in the most logical place
Talk about UX I can do all day and night
