How to choose what appears in the stream?

Hi folks,

Sorry... I know this is a simple question but I just can't seem to find it! How do I select what appears in the stream. For example, I'd like to stop "John Doe has updated his profile" from appearing in the stream.

Hi,

Yes this is possible. Do as follow:

Go to Easysocial / Application. Select the "User — Profiles" application. At the bottom, select NO to "Determines if a stream item should be generated when a user updates their profile." And save.

NOTE: Sometime the language string isn't working correctly and may appear like: APP_USER_PROFILES_SETTINGS_STREAM_UPDATE_PROFILE
