I would like to make some changes to the vote up and vote down appearance. Tried to follow this post (http://stackideas.com/forums/how-to-change-the-vote-updown-icons), but it seems like things have changed since then.
Hey Mark,

You can refer to the following files:

/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/post.vote.php
/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/flatt/post.vote.php

However, you really can't just "replace" the html codes as they are actually designed / styled using css. You need to copy the css across too.

Sure. There are two (or three) changes we would like to make:

1. Make the up and down arrows on a vote block in a question or reply more prominent, or just larger.

2. Add the word Vote in or around the block so make it crystal clear to users what they are supposed to do.

(optional) 3. Move the entire block to the left, (probably under the user name since there is space there. This is not as important as the first two.

Hi Mark,

We actually do not provide customization as part of our support policy but if you can provide us with the url of your site we can try to provide some css hack and you can adjust it accordingly.

I'm not looking for customization through support. Let me simplify the question. How can I replace the vote up/down block in the simplistic theme with the vote up/down block in the flatt theme?

The attachment is the result I'm after.
