how can i change the avatar image

I've tried to do but couldn't change the avatar image from backend.
Hey Prashant,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. You need to edit your profile on the front end.

Prashant,

Also, if you are logged in on the back-end, simply got to the EasyBlog component and select "Authors," choose which author's avatar you would like to change. Then select "Blog Settings" and choose an image to place there for your avatar.

Prashant,

That's pretty strange. I have the most recent update of EB 5 and changed the avatar for one of my users with the steps above, and it applied correctly. Hopefully they can be of further help.

Hey Prashant,

If you have issues updating avatars, there could be a possibility that it could be due to a missing GD library. If your server has GD library installed and still unable to upload avatar, Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hey Prashant,

Just checked your site and it looks like you have configured EasyBlog to inherit avatars from EasyDiscuss and by doing so, you won't be able to upload avatars in EasyBlog. See my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/aqzxwmCW

The only way to upload avatars is to do it in EasyDiscuss instead at https://www.bankcircle.in/answers/profile/edit . By the way, there are lots of javascript errors on the page which is also breaking the tab in EasyDiscuss.

Hi Prashant,

Sorry for late reply to this,

It seems like your current template causing this issue, if you change to Joomla default template, it will work fine.

#1. When click on the edit profile tab, it will scroll it down is because your current template inject the Javascript trigger this. (screenshot below.)

perhaps you can consult with your current template provider regarding this and keep us updated then after your current template provider already response you.

Hey Prashant,

I have checked your site and it seems like when the template's compressor tries to compress the javascript files and it messes up Easydiscuss. To fix this, I had to turn the js compression off in the template's settings as you can see from the screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/4io54A0C

hi,

instead of disabling the entire js compression, pls provide the path of the file which can be excluded for this purpose.

We have no idea where the conflict is actually coming from but it's best if you can exclude /media/com_easydiscuss/ from your compressor.
