Hello,

I only have one custom profile and would like it to be the default, however, users are still asked upon registration to select this profile. is there anyway to bypass this step? Thanks.

Hello Jaymz,

Hm, when you only have 1 profile on the system, the system will actually skip this step automatically. I am not too sure why it isn't doing that on your site. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Sure. However, I think I figured it out... but now I have a new problem.

The original issue was that I didn't have the Profile type set to "Allow in Registration" (didn't think I'd have to with one profile)

However, now when a user registers manually, they go through the workflow and receive an error at the end.

Not sure what the error means. I was going to give you our login info (you can find it below) but it seems since installing the stackideas software I can no longer log in to the backend. I receive the following:

Surely I must have some other issue?

Hello Jaymz,

Did you change your password recently after upgrading to Joomla 3.2? There's actually some known issues with Joomla 3.2 logins.

Something I did fixed it. not sure what happened with the login. I enabled the easysocial authentication plugin and the jomsocial authentication plugin disabled somehow. Anyhow, fixed. Thanks!
