Hi,

I was checking my site with a SEO-tool.

For structured SEO-readyness, the tool gave my site 0% out of 100%. I was checking the reason for it and found out that 35 pages have more than one canonical link. The pages are all related to EasyBlog.

I checked one of the pages and found this twice in the header:

<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, shrink-to-fit=no">
<link rel="canonical" href="....meine.miet.id/blog/empfehlungsschreiben-vom-arbeitgeber">
etc...

and further below:

<meta name="generator" content="MYOB" />
<title>Empfehlungs-Schreiben vom Arbeitgeber - miet.ID Blog für Mieter, Vermieter und Makler</title>
<link href="....meine.miet.id/blog/empfehlungsschreiben-vom-arbeitgeber" rel="canonical" />
etc.

How can I solve that? How can i get rid of double URLs for canonical links in EasyBlog?

Thanks,
Alex
Is it possible for you provide us some screenshot regarding this SEO tool report?

And what is that both different post URL having the same canonical link?

Hi Arlex,
pls check the attached document. In the source of each link you will find two links regarding canonical.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey Alex,

I've checked you attached that PDF file, I suspect your site got one of the 3rd party plugins render another canonical link on the site.

Because by default Easyblog will render canonical link automatically on Easyblog pages itself.

Perhaps you can try take a look of your existing 3rd party plugin and see which plugins functionality did render another canonical tag on the site?

If you would like us to help you check regarding this issue, perhaps you can consider to change this license support domain from reposee.com to meine.miet.id so we can able to continue to help you investigate this, because PRO license obtain to support 1 domain only.

Thanks for understanding.
