Hi,
some of my users complain about double notifications. I found out that they have a "site subscription" = first notification, and when they write a post, they are automatically subscribed (which is OK) = second subscription.

How can I avoid that two notifications are sent out for people, who have a site subscription, but also write post.

Thanks.
Hi Alex,

Can you provide us the correct backend url as the one provided is not working? Please advice. Thanks.

Hey Alex,

Thanks. I'm able to access the backend now.

To speed up the investigation, can you provide me an example of the issue with details like which user is receiving duplicate emails, which email(in email activity) and which discussion is involved?

Let us know, thanks.

In general, it is allways this way, if you make für example a site wie subscription.

I have activated automatic notifications, if users answer a thread.

But if the user in the same time has a site wide subscription, he will receive double notifications, which schould be avoided, if possible.

Hey Alex,

Alright. We will wait for the details.
Is this behavior something, which should not happen?
If you are referring to an email address receiving 2 identical email notifications from the site, then yes this should not happen.

The best way to check whether this is occuring on EasyDiscuss end is to check the email activity that is generated under the email activities section. Once we can pin point the duplicate activity, we can check the related discussion, user involved and so on.
