You can't assign specific users as moderator but you can definitely assign Joomla user groups as moderator per category settings. To do this, go to the categories section and edit an existing category.

Then, under the permissions tab, you should see this option.

P/S: Can you also please remove all notifications to our email @stackideas.com please? We have been receiving tons of e-mails from your site. It's most likely that one of the support account was created with @stackideas.com

Let say I'll have 3 categories, I need to assign a different moderator to each one. Shall I create 3 different user group and asign a joomla user to each group user ?

In Easydiscuss 4, we already remove this `browse user` section from the category permission page, so you have to setup different Joomla user group and assign in the category permission section.
