How to allow User to only add/edit their own profile and ONLY admin-user can see these profiles?

Is there a way for users to add/edit their own profiles and NOT allow them to see any other profile, except their own.
What we are looking for is a way that all profile information of these new users should stay private and hidden for everybody else and only accessable to the admin-profile members.

Ah unfortunately we don't have a feature for this currently. It is either hidden or displayed on the front end

Hey Shean,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Yes, and you can do this by:

1. Go to the Profile Types area
2. Click on the profile type that you would like to edit
3. Click on the custom fields tab.
4. Click on each field that you want to configure and under the "View" tab, ensure that the "Appear During Displaying" is disabled
5. Save the profile type.

What you have suggested does indeed hide all the fields in display mode at the front end for that profile type.
But then NO other profile type can view these fields. And I am looking for a way that only one specific profile-type (the 2 admins of the site) can view these profiles.
