Newbie.
How does a user add a link within his blog?
Does he highlight some text and then click on the link icon in the editor?
If he does, a screen appears - headed {#advanced_dig.link_title} and under that http://www.domainname/media/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/link.htm
Hello Jeanette Fitzmaurice,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Yes, as my colleague mentioned that was easy way to insert a link in your blog content in current system.

Hello Jeanette,

I am sorry but I unable to understand you well.
Do you referring to this? http://screencast.com/t/b1jmxyhc . If yes, you can use this form to input your link as in my screenshot. You can highlight the word, click the link button and click insert. If this is not the issue perhaps you can explain more so that we can understand you better.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Yes, that is the screen but I only was seeing the first two lines. I could not see
Insert/Editlink
URL
Target
Title
Class
or the insert and cancel buttons

I tried it again and this time everything is showing.
I don't know why it wasn't showing before.

So thanks. It is now working.

Hello Jeanette,

I am sorry for the late reply.
It is depending on which type of editor you're using and it is not the only way. If you know how to code html, you also can use toggle editor and put the link using <a href>. Hope this will help.

Thanks.

Thanks Mohd,
I am trying to make it as simple as possible for a large, very non-technical group of bloggers.
It's a pity that when http://www.link.com is written as text within the blog that it isn't automatically formatted as a hyperlink like what happens in the comments.
I am using TinyMCE.

I understand now that it all depends on the editor chosen.
Thanks everyone for your help.
