I know you can add a graphic with graphic-file.png
and you can add a link with Some Text

How can you add a link to a graphic?

I tried [url=http://some-link.com]graphic-file.png[/url]
But that doesn't work
Hey Rick,

You can't just put following these code for display image on the reply.

graphic-file.png

You have to put the absolute URL for your image link e.g. http://site.com/graphic-file.png in order to populate the image on the content.

yes Arlex... I was just using that as an example...
and in placing my code here, I forgot that it was being interpreted as BBcode.

LOL!

What I mean is can you use a graphic within a url, for instance to make a clickable banner?
for instance... seems that when I use the code here it messes me up so I am attaching this as a text file

[url="http://link-to-banner-image"]http://link-to-banner-image[/url]

it seems that when you nest these - it does not do what you would expect

Based on what i see you attached that code, it should possible to achieve this, you can take a look of my following image + hyperlink :

[gist type="php"]

[/gist]

yes!

But when I place that in my forum post, it gets a bit messed up and typically does not work.
I was able to make it work by temporarily switching the editor, fixing the page, then saving and switching the editor back.

Perhaps you can update your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Can you check my first screenshot is it you mean something broken like this right?

If yes, I've applied some fix in this file, can you start a new thread again and see how it goes?
