How many mails do you recommend to set in - max mail no.?

We can set the maximum no. of emails that can be sent from our site for notification. We can set this in ED--backend--setting--Notification--Emails setting

My question is what maximum no. do you recommend so that nothing is adversely affected.
This is not a maximum number of emails. This settings determine the total number of emails to be sent each time the cron executes.

Ideally, it should be between 20 - 50 e-mails depending on the site's activity.

It's up to you what number you want to set really The larger the number, the longer time the cron takes to execute and if your cron interval overlaps, you end up with duplicate e-mails. A sweet spot would be 15 - 30 for less subscribers and 30 - 50 if you have lots of subscribers.
