Unfortunately we do not have setting to get rid of this `timeline` filter from the user dashboard/profile.

Thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps we should add an option to add a landing page instead where you can put a custom text that you want when user first access easysocial dashboard. We will consider this in the future release of easysocial.
