I think your mindset is absolutely wrong and neither it is a good idea to threaten us this way
On one hand I understand not having all the requirements of a web project that you want, especially if it falls far below one's expectation. But with EasySocial it has gone far beyond my expectations, and the stacked team has been quite generous with adding additions.
Mark is right that one should not threaten to leave because a little addition is missing. Not only will you probably not get what you want as a result (demand is not given into) but also makes your staff (the stacked team) not comfortable with the way your treating the situation. I too want the Kunena reply filter, maybe even just as bad as you (it's high on my list) but at the same time I make sure that my requests create the greatest good for the greatest number of people. This is how I focus my posts/requests. In some cases I'll even go out of my way to defend an idea that doesn't benefit myself, but certainly would many other people.
I think it's fine to make small requests every once in a great while that have to do with additions to ES apps (ones that have to do with non ES components) as long as a voice page is attached with it and you very carefully pace it out. I try not to overwhelm the stacked team, especially when they are very busy with major releases. That doesn't mean "do not post requests during such times", but instead make posts that you know pretty much everyone in ES will benefit from and don't request too much at once. I know it can be a tricky business, I learn a little more about this each week I post here. By doing this you will help the stacked team create the best extension Joomla has ever seen, and make the stacked team either decline less ideas or feel less pressured when a lot of development is under way. The last thing we need is wearing out our staff (as in this would be a very bad scenario).
