If you are using the bbcode, it never allows using HTML markups. You need to use the bbcode syntax. You can see the example by hitting on the "code" icon in the editor.

The BB icon was working with this method in last version.
I've edited many of my posts with this method but there are many posts that i'm not able to edit them all.

There was a bug in EasyDiscuss 3.x where users are able to enter HTML codes on the reply form. This is a nasty bug because it may lead to unexpected results if the user tries to abuse the system.

We have strengthen the way EasyDiscuss 4.x processes bbcode and it will not process html codes if you are using bbcode editor.

Hm, not sure what do you mean here but as long as the user does not edit the post and save it again, it will be fine. If they edit and save it, then you should clearly indicate to them that HTML tags are forbidden unless it is enclosed within the bbcode's "code" tag.
