How does your crawler pick a preview image from a website?

When trying to share one of our other sites, https://city.live/landing/english on our EasySocial website, it looks like the correct image will show as a preview

but when I click "share" the preview uses our pre-loader-gif, a bouncy ball, in stead of the image shown in the link over.

How can we set this up so that the correct image is showing? (as it is on facebook)

If your site isn't a known site for oembed, EasySocial will pick up the opengraph tags. If there is no opengraph tags on the page, it falls back to the meta data on the header of the page.

Upon checking your site it seems like the city.live site is generating oembed codes and it's failing on your site, http://take.ms/CByhS . I believe there are some sort of preventions on your city.live site from 3rd party rendering embed codes.
