How does the Related Posts module for EasyBlog relate posts?

My client would like to make the most of this module. Does it relate based on Tags, Categories, both, something else? Does one take priority? We want to work this feature to provide the most relevant content suggestions to readers.

Can someone please explain how it works so we can work it?
