How does a visitor subscribe to a blog?

I can see how visitors subscribe to posts (at the top, there is a "subscribe to this blog post" link but...how does a visitor subscribe to an entire blog?

Thanks. However This button does not appear when I display a post and I'm not keen on displaying the bar.

Unfortunately there are no work around for this. The subscribe link is embedded on the toolbar and if you want something else, perhaps you should use the subscription module.
