Iam wondering how the translation of EasySocial is handled.

I have a multilingual web site (3 languages). When user register using language $2 he receives an email confirmation in language $2, however when I send registration reminder from Admin the user receives an email in default language $1.

It would be ideal that user who is using language $2 receives all communication in preferred language.

Iam not sure what is the behaviour on various notifications within EasySocial. Can you please give us more insight how language is handled?

Thank you
Hello David,

During registrations, it depends on what the language the user has selected when he registers on the site. If you did not allow them to select their language, there is no way for EasySocial to intelligently know which language the user is on

If the user did select their respective language, it will actually use the language that the user has selected. If there is no language selected, it falls back to the default language set for the site.

And if you use a component like Falang or Joomfish, Easysocial will follow since the language variable is catch and if the required language is loaded in ES, it will follow. The only known issue on my side is the router language as to be override since they aren't translated.

Hello Alexandre,

Hm, not really sure what issues you have with the router language?
